The New York Giants placed tight end Evan Engram in the concussion protocol Wednesday, after incurring the injury during Monday's loss to the Detroit Lions.
Engram was listed as a limited participant on the team's injury report.
The first-round pick has made an immediate impact, scoring his first career touchdown against the Lions and catching eight passes for 93 yards through two games.
Engram's status for Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles has yet to be determined.
