Despite a rough outing for Mike Glennon against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, it appears we won't be seeing Mitchell Trubisky behind center for the Chicago Bears anytime soon.
Bears' head coach John Fox said afterwards that Glennon would remain the starter going forward.
"No," Fox said when asked about a quarterback change, according to Jeff Dickerson of ESPN. "I don't think anybody ... without even seeing the tape yet that you can pin that on the quarterback. Like I said earlier, everybody had their hand in that."
Glennon committed three first half turnovers against his former team, which included a pick-6, as Chicago lost 29-7. Given the way things are going for the 0-2 Bears, it won't take long for fans to start asking if it's time to turn to Trubisky.
"I don't think this falls solely on Mike's shoulders," Bears tight end Zach Miller said. "There's 10 other people on the field with him. We got to get in position to make plays and be able to execute from start to finish. We didn't do that at all today. It's not solely on Mike Glennon."
