Cordarrelle Patterson has not necessarily lived up to the hype he had as a first round pick in 2013, but maybe that's because he's been playing the wrong position.
The receiver/return specialist lined up in the backfield for the Oakland Raiders Sunday against the New York Jets and burst through the line so fast that he almost forgot to finish his 43-yard run to the end zone. It was Patterson's third carry of the game and his fifth so far this season.
Looks like Marshawn Lynch isn't the only new threat out of the Raiders' backfield.
