Antonio Gates now stands alone atop the NFL record books, as the Los Angeles Chargers star broke Tony Gonzalez's mark of 111 career touchdowns by a tight end on Sunday against the Miami Dolphins.
Gates snared his 112th career touchdown in the third quarter on a 7-yard pass from Philip Rivers.
The catch also moved the 37-year-old into sole possession of the sixth spot for all-time touchdown catches by any player in NFL history.
