Hard Rock Stadium will be "good to go" for the Miami Dolphins next month when they play their first game of the season in the facility, team president Tom Garfinkel said Tuesday.
There was fear damage from Hurricane Irma would cause a delay in access to the stadium, but only minor damage occurred, according to Garfinkel.

The Dolphins don't have a true home game until Oct. 8 against the Tennessee Titans, as their next two games are on the road before playing the New Orleans Saints in London. Miami was set to host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 1, but the game was moved to later in the season.
Miami's practice facility is also ready and the team will practice there next week when they return from this weekend's game against the Los Angeles Chargers.
The Miami Hurricanes also use the stadium and they will host a game there on Sept. 23.
