Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt received a check Wednesday morning for $5 million from H-E-B chairman Charles Butt. H-E-B is a Texas-based chain of grocery stores.
The check - addressed to The J.J. Watt Foundation and accompanied with a note indicating the funds are to be used for Hurricane Harvey relief and recovery - brings Watt's fundraising total up to $26.77 million.
