Watt pushes Hurricane Harvey relief goal to $4M after Titans donate $1M

The Tennessee Titans have helped J.J. Watt raise his bar for helping the victims of Hurricane Harvey.

Watt had begun with a goal of raising $200,000 on Sunday, but after that was met in less than two hours, he decided to continue raising the target amount as donations arrived in a hurry. He had announced a goal of $3 million Tuesday afternoon, and had that pleasantly achieved thanks to a $1-million donation by Titans owner Amy Adams Strunk.

"This is truly unbelievable. There are no words. Thank you for your generosity," Watt responded in a tweet, before pushing his fundraising goal up another notch.

Many players - with and without ties to Houston - have commended and applauded Watt's efforts, sending in heavy donations of their own. At the pace the Houston Texans star is going, he won't stop until Houston has completely recovered.
