Ezekiel Elliott will personally attend the appeal of his six-game suspension for domestic violence allegations, the Dallas Cowboys running back's representatives told Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
While Elliott will attend the appeal, his accuser and ex-girlfriend, Tiffany Thompson, reportedly won't be.
Arbitrator Harold Henderson - who will oversee the appeal rather than NFL commissioner Roger Goodell - has denied a request from Elliott's representatives to make Thompson available to testify. He also rejected a separate request for notes or transcripts of the league's meetings with Thompson, a league source told Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk.
The NFL and the NFL Players Association have engaged in a war of words over what the league perceives as the union trying to victim-shame Thompson.

This reported development means Elliott's representatives won't get a chance to question the only witness in the case.
Elliott's appeal is scheduled for Aug. 29 at the NFL's offices.
