One of the most memorable sketches to come out of Comedy Central's Key & Peele is the East-West Bowl, in which the duo portrays football players with ridiculous names.
The inspiration behind it, as Keegan-Michael Key explained during an appearance on "The Dan Patrick Show," came to Jordan Peele while he was playing a game of Madden.
"He said, 'Keegan, did you know that there is an offensive lineman who plays for the New York Jets and his name is D'Brickashaw Ferguson?!'" Key recalled Peele telling him.
Ferguson, who retired following the 2015 season, appeared in one of the East-West Bowl sketches:
