There's a new starting quarterback in the AFC East and Tom Brady is acutely aware.
Brady and the New England Patriots will now have to compete against Jay Cutler twice this season and the defending Super Bowl MVP is looking forward to the challenge.
But Brady wouldn't address the Cutler signing without heaping praise on the Miami Dolphins as a whole.
"Ryan (Tannehill) is a great player. We've lost a bunch of games when Ryan's been playing quarterback. Obviously with him getting hurt and Jay, another Pro Bowl-caliber quarterback, coming in, we always have our problems with that team," Brady said to Willie McGinest on NFL Network. "They have a great defense - they always have. We've always struggled with winning down there and it's always challenging playing against those guys.
"So, they'll be ready to go. We don't play until late in the year, we have a long way to go between now and then but they're going to be a good team."
Brady has a career 20-9 record against Miami, which has handed him his most career losses.
