Colts' Geathers to start season on PUP list, miss at least 6 weeks

Indianapolis Colts safety Clayton Geathers will start the regular season on the physically unable to perform list with a neck injury, general manager Chris Ballard said, according to Zak Keefer of IndyStar Sports.
Unlike players placed on the training camp PUP list, Geathers will need to miss at least the first six weeks of the season before potentially returning to the lineup.
Geathers missed the final five games of the Colts' 2016 season with head and neck injuries. The starting safety underwent surgery on his neck this spring.
