On Monday, the Washington Redskins released a statement claiming they did not receive a contract offer from Kirk Cousins this year. Perhaps because they were calling him by the wrong name.
In a short press conference Monday, team president Bruce Allen called his quarterback "Kurt" six times in two minutes, according to Dan Steinberg of the Washington Post.

This isn't a new problem for Allen, who has apparently regularly mispronounced Cousins' name for some time - even when prompted to correct it.
Of all the Kirk Cousins news out there, this might be the most important development... #Redskins #KirkNotKurt pic.twitter.com/niBaqxV6Wg

It's the little stuff like this that makes the Redskins the height of dysfunction in the NFL.
