Free-agent quarterback Robert Griffin III is scheduled to work out for the Los Angeles Chargers on Tuesday, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Griffin has reportedly not visited another team since being released in March by the Cleveland Browns.
The quarterback has been working out with former Browns offensive assistant Pep Hamilton in Florida, adds Schefter. Griffin made five starts for the Browns last season, throwing for 886 yards with two touchdowns and three interceptions.
There may be an opening in Los Angeles for Griffin as 34-year-old Kellen Clemens is the only backup behind Philip Rivers with NFL experience, but Griffin's history of medical issues could be an issue.
