Chad Hansen Bio
Position: WR
School: Cal
College Experience: Junior
Height: 6-2
Weight: 202 lbs.
Strengths
- Exploded during junior season with 92 catches and 11 touchdowns.
- Good body control near the boundary. Doesn't lose focus in traffic around the sidelines.
- Shows good vision after the catch on screens and short receptions.
- Works to get back to the quarterback on comeback routes. Drives hard off his back foot to give quarterback a target.
- Willing blocker in the run game. Doesn't shy away from contact.
Weaknesses
- Doesn't have ideal strength for his size. Can get jammed and re-routed at the line of scrimmage.
- Can get caught taking too many steps while trying to get his release, disrupting timing.
- Lacks versatility. Lined up out wide at the numbers almost exclusively at Cal and ran a limited route tree.
- Decent hands, but not immune to drops.
