Nick Saban's previous run as an NFL head coach yielded less than impressive results, but that apparently didn't stop teams from contacting the Alabama frontman this offseason.

A source told Bleacher Report's Mike Freeman that every pro team with a head coaching vacancy reached out to the five-time national champion or his representatives this offseason to gauge his interest in a return to the NFL, but were met with an emphatic "no thanks."

The six teams in the market for a new head coach were the Buffalo Bills, Denver Broncos, Jacksonville Jaguars, Los Angeles Chargers, Los Angeles Rams, and San Francisco 49ers.

Saban posted a 15-17 record in his two seasons with the Miami Dolphins from 2005-06, before leaving suddenly to take the job with Alabama. The 65-year-old is entering his 11th season with the Crimson Tide, by far the longest stop on his coaching resume.
