Indianapolis Colts kicker Adam Vinatieri almost always delivers when the stakes are at their highest, but he'll be ruing a missed 48-yard field goal during Sunday's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Vinatieri would be awarded a $500,000 bonus if he made over 90 percent of his field goals this season. The veteran kicker made 89.7 percent of his attempts prior to Sunday's game, but blew his opportunity to secure the bonus after going 1-of-2 in Sunday's victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The 44-year-old just completed his 21st professional season, so it's possible he'll be unaffected by the missed chance, but it's an unfortunate way to cap off the 2016 campaign.
