Vince Wilfork's son, D'Aundre Holmes-Wilfork, was arrested on Dec. 21 after police allegedly found 381 grams of codeine in his vehicle during a traffic stop, the Houston Chronicle reports, citing Galveston County, Texas records.
Holmes-Wilfork could face anywhere from two to 20 years in prison, along with a $10,000 fine.
The 19-year-old was a walk-on for the University of Houston's football team, but was dismissed following the arrest.
"We are aware of the situation and D'Aundre is no longer a part of the Houston Football program," university officials said in a statement.
