Jacksonville Jaguars running back Chris Ivory remains in hospital Monday after being admitted Sunday morning and missing the season opener against the Green Bay Packers, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.

Schefter adds that Ivory is still in pain, and his status is considered uncertain until tests can be carried out. Aside from the Jaguars' official announcement, which stated Ivory had been sent to hospital with a "general health issue," further details on his condition have yet to emerge.

A calf injury limited his practice participation throughout the week and the Jaguars officially listed him as questionable on Friday's injury report, but the club indicated that the hospital stay is unrelated.

Second-year running back T.J. Yeldon got the start against Green Bay in Ivory's absence, running for 39 yards and one touchdown on 21 attempts.
