This is a standard (non-PPR) scoring league with the following roster spots: QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, TE, FLEX, DEF, K, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN.
Draft Participants: Michael McClymont, Gino Bottero, James Bisson, Josh Ghatak, Jason Wilson, Andrew Potter, Esten McLaren, Josh Wegman, Dan Wilkins, Ken Conrad, David Woods, Justin Boone.
Round 1
Pick | Player | Owner |
---|---|---|
1 | Antonio Brown (WR1) | McClymont |
2 | Julio Jones (WR2) | Bottero |
3 | Todd Gurley (RB1) | Bisson |
4 | Odell Beckham (WR3) | Ghatak |
5 | David Johnson (RB2) | Wilson |
6 | DeAndre Hopkins (WR4) | Potter |
7 | Lamar Miller (RB3) | McLaren |
8 | Ezekiel Elliott (RB4) | Wegman |
9 | Adrian Peterson (RB5) | Wilkins |
10 | Dez Bryant (WR5) | Conrad |
11 | A.J. Green (WR6) | Woods |
12 | Allen Robinson (WR7) | Boone |
Round 1: This was an email draft that took place over the last week, so Tony Romo's injury happened well after our first round was over. Bryant will likely fall to the second round with the news Romo will miss at least half the season.
Round 2
Pick | Player | Owner |
---|---|---|
13 | Brandon Marshall (WR8) | Boone |
14 | Jamaal Charles (RB6) | Woods |
15 | Devonta Freeman (RB7) | Conrad |
16 | Rob Gronkowski (TE1) | Wilkins |
17 | Le'Veon Bell (RB8) | Wegman |
18 | Jordy Nelson (WR9) | McLaren |
19 | Brandin Cooks (WR10) | Potter |
20 | Mark Ingram (RB9) | Wilson |
21 | LeSean McCoy (RB10) | Ghatak |
22 | Mike Evans (WR11) | Bisson |
23 | Doug Martin (RB11) | Bottero |
24 | Alshon Jeffery (WR12) | McClymont |
Round 2: Team Wegman takes a bit of a risk on Bell early in the second round, giving him Elliott and Bell as the cornerstones of his team. He might have the two best fantasy backs once Week 4 rolls around ... It would be nice to see Nelson in some preseason action. Owners are going to have to close their eyes and jump in the second round if they want him on their teams this year.
Round 3
Pick | Player | Owner |
---|---|---|
25 | Eddie Lacy (RB12) | McClymont |
26 | Keenan Allen (WR13) | Bottero |
27 | T.Y. Hilton (WR14) | Bisson |
28 | Amari Cooper (WR15) | Ghatak |
29 | Sammy Watkins (WR16) | Wilson |
30 | Demaryius Thomas (WR17) | Potter |
31 | C.J. Anderson (RB13) | McLaren |
32 | Kelvin Benjamin (WR18) | Wegman |
33 | Randall Cobb (WR19) | Wilkins |
34 | DeMarco Murray (RB14) | Conrad |
35 | Thomas Rawls (RB15) | Woods |
36 | Jeremy Maclin (WR20) | Boone |
Round 3: Keenan Allen falls to the third round, where he's a nice value for Team Bottero. The Chargers' top receiver has top-seven upside ... With a strong preseason, Murray has played his way into this round ... Since he's yet to suit up this season, Rawls is a dangerous pick in the third. We don't know much about his recovery from ankle surgery, and his backup Christine Michael has been lights out in August. If Rawls isn't able to hit the ground running, this could turn into a dreaded RBBC.
Round 4
Pick | Player | Owner |
---|---|---|
37 | Jordan Reed (TE2) | Boone |
38 | Doug Baldwin (WR21) | Woods |
39 | Julian Edelman (WR22) | Conrad |
40 | Latavius Murray (RB16) | Wilkins |
41 | Matt Forte (RB17) | Wegman |
42 | Donte Moncrief (WR23) | McLaren |
43 | Jeremy Langford (RB18) | Potter |
44 | Jarvis Landry (WR24) | Wilson |
45 | Jonathan Stewart (RB19) | Ghatak |
46 | Carlos Hyde (RB20) | Bisson |
47 | Eric Decker (WR25) | Bottero |
48 | Michael Floyd (WR26) | McClymont |
Round 4: Reed in the fourth round is an automatic selection. I own several shares in Reed, so let's hope he can avoid the one thing that's plagued his career - injuries ... Floyd's star might be a little brighter with Larry Fitzgerald dealing with a knee issue, and John Brown being held out with concussion symptoms.
Round 5
Pick | Player | Owner |
---|---|---|
49 | Jeremy Hill (RB21) | McClymont |
50 | Aaron Rodgers (QB1) | Bottero |
51 | Golden Tate (WR27) | Bisson |
52 | Arian Foster (RB22) | Ghatak |
53 | Cam Newton (QB2) | Wilson |
54 | Melvin Gordon (RB23) | Potter |
55 | John Brown (WR28) | McLaren |
56 | Larry Fitzgerald (WR29) | Wegman |
57 | Marvin Jones (WR30) | Wilkins |
58 | Emmanuel Sanders (WR31) | Conrad |
59 | Duke Johnson (RB24) | Woods |
60 | Dion Lewis (RB25) | Boone |
Round 5: Team McClymont is off to one of the strongest starts with Antonio Brown, Alshon Jeffery, Michael Floyd, Eddie Lacy, and Jeremy Hill ... Marvin Jones will be far more valuable than the 30th wide receiver off the board. He's going to be a league-winner if his ADP doesn't change ... As I mentioned earlier, our draft started at the beginning of the week, prior to news breaking about Lewis missing half the season and maybe more. I normally load up on running backs anyway in the later rounds, so now I'll face more pressure to hit on one of those lottery tickets.
Round 6
Pick | Player | Owner |
---|---|---|
61 | Frank Gore (RB26) | Boone |
62 | Tyler Lockett (WR32) | Woods |
63 | Greg Olsen (TE3) | Conrad |
64 | Matt Jones (RB27) | Wilkins |
65 | DeVante Parker (WR33) | Wegman |
66 | Andrew Luck (QB3) | McLaren |
67 | Russell Wilson (QB4) | Potter |
68 | Josh Gordon (WR34) | Wilson |
69 | Allen Hurns (WR35) | Ghatak |
70 | Rashad Jennings (RB28) | Bisson |
71 | Ryan Mathews (RB29) | Bottero |
72 | Kamar Aiken (WR36) | McClymont |
Round 6: Gore has the ability to still be a fantasy starter, but the Colts' line has looked terrible throughout the preseason. It could be a serious problem for their running game especially ... Gordon didn't need much time to remind us all of his next-level playmaking skills. Two catches for 87 yards and a touchdown in one half of football is exactly what we were hoping for from Gordon. It's the kind of performance that will fire his price up a round or two in drafts.
Round 7
Pick | Player | Owner |
---|---|---|
73 | Jay Ajayi (RB30) | McClymont |
74 | Chris Ivory (RB31) | Bottero |
75 | Drew Brees (QB5) | Bisson |
76 | Delanie Walker (TE4) | Ghatak |
77 | Sterling Shepard (WR37) | Wilson |
78 | Coby Fleener (TE5) | Potter |
79 | Kevin White (WR38) | McLaren |
80 | DeSean Jackson (WR39) | Wegman |
81 | Jordan Matthews (WR40) | Wilkins |
82 | T.J. Yeldon (RB32) | Conrad |
83 | Travis Kelce (TE6) | Woods |
84 | Gio Bernard (RB33) | Boone |
Round 7: Securing Travis Kelce was a great pick for Team Woods, and prevented me from suffering regret after drafting Reed in the fourth ... I normally don't advocate taking an early QB, but Team Wilson is building a solid squad through seven rounds with Cam Newton, David Johnson, Mark Ingram, Sammy Watkins, Jarvis Landry, Josh Gordon, and Sterling Shepard. If Gordon hits, he's going to have a dominant team.
Round 8
Pick | Player | Owner |
---|---|---|
85 | DeAngelo Willimas (RB34) | Boone |
86 | Ameer Abdullah (RB35) | Woods |
87 | Markus Wheaton (WR41) | Conrad |
88 | Michael Crabtree (WR42) | Wilkins |
89 | LeGarrette Blount (RB36) | Wegman |
90 | Michael Thomas (WR43) | McLaren |
91 | Danny Woodhead (RB37) | Potter |
92 | Derrick Henry (RB38) | Wilson |
83 | Torrey Smith (WR44) | Ghatak |
94 | Julius Thomas (TE7) | Bisson |
95 | Willie Snead (WR45) | Bottero |
96 | Justin Forsett (RB39) | McClymont |
Round 8: My hunt for running backs has begun, as news of the Lewis injury came down. After grabbing the underrated Gio Bernard last round, I add DeAngelo Williams to the mix. Having Williams on the roster assures me a RB1 for the first three weeks of the season, buying me time to solve my RB situation.
Round 9
Pick | Player | Owner |
---|---|---|
97 | Corey Coleman (WR46) | McClymont |
98 | Gary Barnidge (TE8) | Bottero |
99 | Stefon Diggs (WR47) | Bisson |
100 | Ben Roethlisberger (QB6) | Ghatak |
101 | Devin Funchess (WR48) | Wilson |
102 | Charles Sims (RB40) | Potter |
103 | Isaiah Crowell (RB41) | McLaren |
104 | Jimmy Graham (TE9) | Wegman |
105 | Tevin Coleman (RB42) | Wilkins |
106 | Travis Benjamin (WR49) | Conrad |
107 | Carson Palmer (QB7) | Woods |
108 | Bilal Powell (RB43) | Boone |
Round 9: We might be undervaluing Diggs at this point. Everyone was ready to hand the Vikings' No. 1 job to rookie Laquon Treadwell, but he wasn't ready for it, and Diggs appears to be Teddy Bridgewater's favorite target ... Team Woods plays the QB position to perfection, waiting until someone falls and snatching them up. In this case, he gets Palmer for far less than he's going to be worth by season's end.
Round 10
Pick | Player | Owner |
---|---|---|
109 | Christine Michael (RB44) | Boone |
110 | Phillip Dorsett (WR50) | Woods |
111 | DeAndre Washington (RB45) | Conrad |
112 | Philip Rivers (QB8) | Wilkins |
113 | Devontae Booker (RB46) | Wegman |
114 | Tavon Austin (WR51) | McLaren |
115 | Steve Smith (WR52) | Potter |
116 | Antonio Gates (TE10) | Wilson |
117 | Spencer Ware (RB47) | Ghatak |
118 | Vincent Jackson (WR53) | Bisson |
119 | Tajae Sharpe (WR54) | Bottero |
120 | James Starks (RB48) | McClymont |
Round 10: If it turns out Rawls isn't ready for Week 1, Michael will get the start. With the way the coaching staff is talking up Michael, it's also possible he cuts into Rawls' workload moving forward ... It's happening. Rookie Tajae Sharpe is climbing draft boards. Whether the hype in fantasy is warranted remains to be seen, but he's definitely carved out a role in the Titans' offense ... Every RB taken in this round is worth drafting as a late-round flier - Michael, Washington, Booker, Ware, and Starks.
Round 11
Pick | Player | Owner |
---|---|---|
121 | Tyler Eifert (TE11) | McClymont |
122 | Theo Riddick (RB49) | Bottero |
123 | James White (RB50) | Bisson |
124 | Ted Ginn Jr. (WR55) | Ghatak |
125 | Jerick McKinnon (RB51) | Wilson |
126 | Tyler Boyd (WR56) | Potter |
127 | Malcolm Mitchell (WR57) | McLaren |
128 | Eli Manning (QB9) | Wegman |
129 | Rishard Matthews (WR58) | Wilkins |
130 | Tom Brady (QB10) | Conrad |
131 | Jordan Howard (RB52) | Woods |
132 | Blake Bortles (QB11) | Boone |
Round 11: Manning, Brady, and Bortles stick around way longer than normal, rewarding Team Legman, Team Conrad, and I for being patient. The hate on Bortles might have gone too far. Regression is coming, but he's still surrounded by some of the best weapons in the league ... I was hoping White would fall to me, but Team Bisson scoops him up earlier in the round. Sometimes you can be a little too patient, I guess.
Round 12
Pick | Player | Owner |
---|---|---|
133 | Chris Thompson (RB53) | Boone |
134 | Chris Johnson (RB54) | Woods |
135 | Tyrod Taylor (QB12) | Conrad |
136 | Will Fuller (WR59) | Wilkins |
137 | Mike Wallace (WR60) | Wegman |
138 | Martellus Bennett (TE12) | McLaren |
139 | Arizona Cardinals (DEF1) | Potter |
140 | Seattle Seahawks (DEF2) | Wilson |
141 | Carolina Panthers (DEF3) | Ghatak |
142 | Darren Sproles (RB55) | Bisson |
143 | Houston Texans (DEF4) | Bottero |
144 | Derek Carr (QB13) | McClymont |
Round 12: Fuller has the kind of speed that will get him on the highlights every few weeks, but playing with Brock Osweiler, the rookie isn't going to bring the consistency you need to start him in a re-draft league ... Tyrod Taylor might not get the Bills back to the playoffs this season, but he will propel your fantasy team to the postseason.
Round 13
Pick | Player | Owner |
---|---|---|
145 | Denver Broncos (DEF5) | McClymont |
146 | Stephen Gostkowski (K1) | Bottero |
147 | Kansas City Chiefs (DEF6) | Bisson |
148 | Eric Ebron (TE13) | Ghatak |
149 | Terrance Williams (WR61) | Wilson |
150 | Charcandrick West (RB56) | Potter |
151 | Philadelphia Eagles (DEF7) | McLaren |
152 | Oakland Raiders (DEF8) | Wegman |
153 | Minnesota Vikings (DEF9) | Wilkins |
154 | Los Angeles Rams (DEF10) | Conrad |
155 | New England Patriots (DEF11) | Woods |
156 | Cincinnati Bengals (DEF12) | Boone |
Round 14
Pick | Player | Owner |
---|---|---|
157 | Steven Hauschka (K2) | Boone |
158 | Graham Gano (K3) | Woods |
159 | Justin Tucker (K4) | Conrad |
160 | Mason Crosby (K5) | Wilkins |
161 | Dan Bailey (K6) | Wegman |
162 | Adam Vinatieri (K7) | McLaren |
163 | Brandon McManus (K8) | Potter |
164 | Chris Boswell (K9) | Wilson |
165 | Chandler Catanzaro (K10) | Ghatak |
166 | Cairo Santos (K11) | Bisson |
167 | Keith Marshall (RB57) | Bottero |
168 | Sebastian Janikowski (K12) | McClymont |
