Can Ben Roethlisberger and Antonio Brown please play some part in the preseason?
Landry Jones, who started the second preseason game Thursday against the Philadelphia Eagles in place of the resting Roethlisberger, threw an awful pick-six early in the first quarter.
The young passer telegraphed the throw from the outset, staring down his intended target, receiver Sammie Coates, and allowing cornerback Nolan Carroll to step in front of the pass.
Coates, too, was culpable for the error, failing to drive back toward the ball.
