Ex-Seahawks QB Jackson arrested for allegedly pulling gun on wife
Former Seattle Seahawks quarterback Tarvaris Jackson was arrested for allegedly pulling a gun on his wife.
Chris Hush of WESH 2 News first reported the story.
According to the arrest report, Jackson was intoxicated and pointed a loaded gun at his wife, stating "I'll kill you", while shouting insults at her.
A witness grabbed Jackson to stop him from firing the gun. Jackson's children were asleep inside their Kissimmee, Fla., house during the confrontation. Jackson told police there wasn't a gun inside the house, but police found a handgun in the kitchen.
Jackson's wife told police that her husband was verbally abusive and kicked down their bedroom door, and she retrieved a kitchen knife, in fear that he would kill her.
Police also found marijuana inside the home, according to Hush.
Deadspin obtained the full police report.
Jackson posted a $2,500 bond and was released from Osceola County Jail.
