The Miami Dolphins waived quarterback Logan Thomas, the team confirmed Thursday.

Thomas was claimed off waivers by the Dolphins in September but was subsequently released. The 25-year-old re-signed to the team's practice squad and was promoted to the active roster in December, but he didn't play a snap.

Throughout his career, Thomas played sparingly after being drafted by the Arizona Cardinals in the fourth round in 2014.

Miami also waived defensive tackle Charles Tuaau.
