Atlanta Falcons tight end Jacob Tamme is the unexpected recipient of many fans' wrath.
Tamme was voted the player who fans 'love to hate' in a recent poll posted by SiriusXM NFL Radio.
The relatively unknown Tamme was up against Tom Brady, Cam Newton, and Richard Sherman for the dubious distinction.

Perhaps it's because he believes that a hot dog isn't a sandwich.
