Tunsil: 'I'm going to work my butt off' after drug video leak
Just minutes before the 2016 NFL Draft began Thursday night, a damning video of Laremy Tunsil taking a bong hit was posted on his Twitter account.
Following his selection with the 13th overall pick by the Miami Dolphins, Tunsil addressed the video.
"It was a mistake, it happened years ago," Tunsil said to NFL Network's Deion Sanders. "I don't know who it was (that posted the video), somebody hacked my account."
The video led teams, such as the Baltimore Ravens, to take him off their draft board, before the Ole Miss standout was selected by the Dolphins. Tunsil was a projected top five pick by most pundits.
Miami and the AFC East are getting a very hungry player.
"I'm going to work my butt off ... and show everybody what kind of person I am," he vowed.
Sanders pressed Tunsil on whether it was his stepfather, who is currently suing the offensive lineman, that was behind the hacking, but the 6-foot-5, 310-pounder refused to point the finger.
