VIDEOS: Ronaldo silences critics with 30-yard screamer, then adds brilliant free-kick
Along with making Celta Vigo suffer for its horrible defending, Cristiano Ronaldo also silenced skeptics around the Santiago Bernabeu who had whistled at the Portuguese superstar in the moments before his incredible strike to double Real Madrid's lead.
Ronaldo drew the ire of Real supporters following a trio of giveaways, but quickly redeemed himself with a long-range effort that bulged the back of the net.
He was at it again moments later during a set-piece, when his strike swerved under the crossbar to give Real a 3-0 lead as Celta 'keeper Ruben Blanco was left frozen.
For good measure, Ronaldo collected his third after tapping in a cross from close range.

And the Portuguese would add a fourth with a thumping header, powering his side to a 7-1 thrashing and, in the process, moving into second on La Liga's all-time scoring list.
