Tempers reportedly flared between two team personnel members at the NFL Scouting Combine on Friday evening.

As the Atlanta Falcons were wrapping up their interview with a combine participant, an Arizona Cardinals scout was waiting to escort the player to a meeting with his club.

According to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk, Falcons defensive line coach Bryan Cox verbally confronted the Cardinals scout, and shoved him.

"I intend to apologize to the young man for the incident that happened last night during the interview process," Cox told Pro Football Talk in a statement. "It shouldn’t have happened."

It's not yet clear whether Cox will be subject to any sort of league discipline as a result of his role in the reported incident.

Cox was also involved in a scuffle with one of his players late in the 2015 season. He and defensive tackle Ra'Shede Hageman were seen pushing each other on the sideline during Atlanta's 38-0 loss to the Carolina Panthers in Week 14.
