Lou Williams: Drake deserves zero credit for 6th Man of the Year win

"Boomin' out in South Gwinnett like Lou Will, 6 man like Lou Will, two girls and they get along like I'm (Lou)."

Since Canadian rapper Drake apparently knows all and sees all, it was never really in doubt that Lou Williams was going to take home NBA Sixth Man of the Year honors last season with the Toronto Raptors after the "6 Man" track was dropped.

However, the notion that it was all Drizzy's doing in Williams taking home the hardware is rather asinine. Averaging 15.5 points and 2.1 assists coming off the bench for the Atlantic Division champions played a much larger role than anything the "Champagne Papi" spit in one of his songs.

Drake and Philadelphia rapper Meek Mill have a fairly public beef, with Williams seemingly siding with Mill, having collaborated with him on a track entitled "I Want It All."

But didn't Drake win Williams the Sixth Man of the Year? That's how one of the 29-year-old's Twitter followers feels, anyway.

The current Los Angeles Laker put a stop to that assumption (0 to 100) real quick:

This logic also works for reigning league Most Valuable Player Stephen Curry, who Drake name-dropped in another track.
