The Toronto Maple Leafs will be without a trio of forwards for at least the next four games.
Tyler Bozak, Joffrey Lupul, and Shawn Matthias will not travel with the club on a four-game western road trip, head coach Mike Babcock announced Monday.
It should be noted that Bozak was the recipient of a Mika Zibanejad elbow in Ottawa on Saturday, but no official diagnosis has been announced.
Mark Arcobello, Rich Clune, and Josh Leivo were called up from the AHL to take their spots, meaning Toronto's lineup could look like this in the immediate future:
The Maple Leafs will play in Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver, and Chicago before returning home for a date with the New York Rangers on Feb. 18.
