John Scott voted All-Star captain alongside Kane, Jagr, Ovechkin
Against seemingly impossible odds, John Scott has done it.
The sparingly used Arizona Coyotes tough guy won the NHL All-Star Fan Vote, and will indeed captain the Pacific Division at the league's showcase weekend in Nashville, Tenn., later this month.
Scott joins Alex Ovechkin, who will captain the Metropolitan; Patrick Kane, who will captain the Central; and the Atlantic's Jaromir Jagr, who actually campaigned the public to not vote him in.

Scott, of course, was not voted in based on merit, rather a plot from those having all sorts of fun on the Internet. He has one assist in 11 games this season, been waived, and spent time in the American Hockey League.
The other three are much more deserving, obviously.
