VIDEO: South African 'keeper executes sweet scorpion kick
Channeling his inner Rene Higuita, South African goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune pulled off a cheeky scorpion kick reminiscent of the one made famous by the Colombian 'keeper at Wembley Stadium 20 years ago.
With his team, the Kaizer Chiefs, carrying a one-goal advantage into stoppage time, Khune, who had made promises to execute the maneuver, promptly leaped forward and swung his legs back before making contact with an arching shot.

The only difference, however, is the timing of the stylish clearance. Higuita's effort occurred during a match against England, while Khune's impressive display appears to have happened after the whistle while players stood around.
Either way, Khune's tribute to Higuita is still impressive.
