Here's a look at the injury situation affecting Saturday's 12-game slate.

Anaheim Ducks

D Simon Despres remains sidelined with an upper-body injury.

Arizona Coyotes

C Antoine Vermette is day-to-day with a lower-body injured suffered Thursday, and will be re-evaluated Monday, meaning he is unavailable Saturday.

Buffalo Sabres

D Zach Bogosian continues to be out with an upper-body injury, and has not featured yet this season.

Carolina Hurricanes

C Andrej Nestrasil left Friday`s game with a leg injury and is out tonight, while W Joakim Nordstrom hasn`t played since October 13 with an upper-body injury.

Chicago Blackhawks

D Duncan Keith remains out for several weeks with a knee injury.

Colorado Avalanche

Non injury-related, but D Tyson Barrie continues to serve his three-game suspension for charging.

Columbus Blue Jackets

C Ryan Johansen, who leads his team with six points, won`t play Saturday due to an illness.

Dallas Stars

D Jason Demers was handed a two-game suspension for elbowing after Friday`s game, meaning he won`t be available Saturday. W Patrick Eaves remains out indefinitely, as are depth forwards Travis Moen and Curtis McKenzie.

Detroit Red Wings

D Mike Green left Friday`s loss to the Flames with an upper-body injury and did not return. He will not play Saturday. C Brad Richards missed Friday`s game and was placed on injured reserve Saturday with a back ailment. Forward Johan Franzen and C Pavel Datsyuk remain out indefinitely. D Kyle Quincey will be out of action Saturday due to a concussion, with Alexey Marachenko to draw in.

Florida Panthers

C Aleksander Barkov is day-to-day with an upper-body injury, and won`t play Saturday.

Minnesota Wild

No significant injuries.

Montreal Canadiens

No significant injuries.

Nashville Predators

No significant injuries.

New Jersey Devils

W Tuomo Ruutu missed Thursday`s game with a foot injury, and isn`t expected to return Saturday. C Patrik Elias remains out indefinitely.

New York Islanders

No significant injuries.

New York Rangers

No significant injuries.

Ottawa Senators

W Mike Hoffman left Thursday`s game with a lower-body injury and will not play on Saturday. D Marc Methot will return from his concussion on Saturday, while W Clarke MacArthur remains out due to a concussion of his own.

Philadelphia Flyers

C Sean Couturier will miss Saturday`s game with an upper-body injury, while fellow C Brayden Schenn returned to practice Friday after missing Wednesday`s game with an upper-body injury of his own. Backup G Michal Neuvirth is considered day-to-day with an upper-body injury.

Pittsburgh Penguins

Forwards Eric Fehr and Beau Bennett remain sidelined indefinitely.

San Jose Sharks

Rookie W Joonas Donskoi took part in practice Friday after missing Wednesday`s game, but won`t play again Saturday due to a lower-body injury. D Paul Martin will be back in the lineup Saturday.

St. Louis Blues

Forward Paul Stastny will miss the next few weeks with a broken foot, while W Jaden Schwartz suffered a leg injury during Friday`s practice and will be re-evaluated in 12 weeks. D Kevin Shattenkirk remains out Saturday with a lower-body injury, while W Robby Fabbri is still sidelined with a concussion.

Tampa Bay Lightning

C Brian Boyle is considered day-to-day with an undisclosed injury.

Toronto Maple Leafs

C Tyler Bozak and D Jake Gardiner were both placed on injured reserve this week.

Vancouver Canucks

W Derek Dorsett will be a game-time decision with an undisclosed ailment, while fellow W Chris Higgins remains out with a foot injury.
