The Philadelphia Flyers have signed forward Sean Couturier to a multiyear contract extension.
The deal is for six years at an average annual value of $4.33 million, reports Sportsnet's Chris Johnston.
Couturier was already signed through 2015-16, at $1.75 million. He was a pending restricted free agent in 2016-17.
The 22-year-old scored 15 goals and added 22 assists while appearing in all 82 games for the Flyers last season.
The Flyers selected Couturier eighth overall in 2011.
