Not long after defeating Manny Pacquiao in a highly anticipated bout dubbed the "Fight of the Century," Floyd Mayweather appears set to have his WBO welterweight title stripped.

Mayweather missed Friday's deadline to comply with the WBO's conditions, and he's now likely to be stripped of the title Monday, Dan Rafael of ESPN reports.

The WBO requested Mayweather pay the $200,000 sanctioning fee from the Pacquiao fight and formally relinquish his junior middleweight belts, as it prohibits fighters from holding titles in multiple weight classes.

After beating Pacquiao by unanimous decision on May 2, Mayweather said he planned to forfeit his five world-title belts to let other boxers fight for them. "I'm not greedy," he said.

If Mayweather is indeed stripped of his title in the coming days, interim titleholder Timothy Bradley Jr. will be elevated to full champion following his defeat of Jessie Vargas by unanimous decision on June 27.
