Report: Beleskey set to hit free agency 'unless talks with Ducks escalate'
Matt Beleskey may be taking off for greener pastures after all.
Days after a report suggesting the Anaheim Ducks were expected to re-sign the impending free agent prior to July 1, the negotiation process appears to have taken a turn for the worse.

The 28-year-old winger is coming off a breakout season of sorts, scoring a career-high 22 goals in 65 games while adding another eight in 16 playoff contests.
His regular-season success came on an inflated shooting percentage of 15.2, but he did post a 54 Corsi For rating at even strength.
The possibility remains that he'll indeed re-up with the Ducks, but he may very well take a look at his options on the open market in an attempt to cash in on his recent success.
