Since joining Werder Bremen in 2008 from Austrian side SK Sturm Graz, Prodl, 27, has made 174 competitive appearances and helped his team claim the DFB-Pokal title in 2008-09.
He'll make his final appearance at the Weserstadion on Saturday, when Werder Bremen host Borussia Monchengladbach, before making his finale for the club one week later at Borussia Dortmund.
