Nashville captain Weber out after being hurt in 2nd period
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) Nashville captain Shea Weber has suffered a lower-body injury in the second period of Game 2 against Chicago and will not return.
The Predators announced Weber's status late in the second period.
Weber was seen walking gingerly to the locker room midway about nine minutes into the second barely putting weight on his right leg. The defenseman had an assist in the game.
Chicago won the opener of this Western Conference quarterfinal 4-3 in double overtime on Wednesday night.
