The Green Bay Packers announced changes to their coaching staff Thursday, officially adding two new assistants and adjusting the roles of five others.
Joining the staff for the 2015 season will be defensive-front assistant Jerry Montgomery and assistant offensive line coach Mike Solari.
Among the most significant changes to the returning staff, offensive coordinator Tom Clements was officially named the Packers' associate head coach/offense. Honoring head coach Mike McCarthy's reported desire to give up play-calling duties, Clements' new title will see him step into that role on game days.
The Packers also announced that Edgar Bennett will take over Clements' former role as offensive coordinator, Alex Van Pelt now coaches both the quarterbacks and wide receivers, Ron Zook becomes the special teams coordinator and Jason Simmons was named an assistant special teams coach.
