It's easy for players and fans to get wrapped up in the moment of a heated rivalry game, especially when that rivalry is between Ohio State and Michigan.
But the two sides put away their ingrained hatred for one another after Ohio State's freshman quarterback, J.T. Barrett suffered a fracture in his right ankle during last week's game between the Buckeyes and the Wolverines.
After Barrett went down with the injury, Michigan quarterback Devin Gardner rushed to Barrett's side to lend his support.
In fact, the class that Gardner displayed on the field garnered him a touching thank-you letter from Ohio State.
