The Washington Capitals rallied from two goals down to defeat the Chicago Blackhawks on Friday.
Washington scored three goals in less than five minutes at the end of the second period to earn the victory, including a pair in the final minute.
First, Marcus Johansson collected a loose puck, spun and fired a shot past Corey Crawford to tie the game with 46 seconds remaining. Then Joel Ward followed that tally by tipping Matt Niskanen's point shot past Crawford with 4.4 seconds left on the clock.
The Blackhawks outshot the Capitals 13-4 in the third period - part of a massive overall advantage in shot attempts - but could not restore their advantage.
