Nolan rips Sabres after loss to Ducks: 'That was like an NHL team playing a pewee team'
Buffalo Sabres head coach Ted Nolan had harsh words for his players after watching them lose 5-1 to the Anaheim Ducks on Monday.
"That was like an NHL team playing a pewee team," Nolan told reporters following the contest. The Sabres were outshot 44-12 and took six minor penalties in the loss - their third straight to start the season.
Nolan clearly gritting teeth through that presser. Closing in on throwing guys under the bus. As angry as I've seen in last year. #Sabres

Buffalo's goal differential stands at minus-10 and Drew Stafford leads the team in points with three assists. The early results have left Nolan short of positive things to say.
Nolan: We'll sort this out, and figure out who wants to play. #BUFvsANA

The Sabres visit the Carolina Hurricanes on Tuesday before hosting the Florida Panthers on Friday, providing two good opportunities to earn their first victory.
