Floyd Mayweather Jr. made a lot of money Saturday night as he defeated Marcos Maidana in just 36 minutes for $32-million.
Mayweather took to his Instagram account to tell the world he will be making almost the same amount when pay-per-view numbers are released.
$32,000,000.00 for 36 minutes. I'm waiting for the PPV numbers to come in so I can make another $38,000,000.00 on the back-end... making it a grand total of $70,000,000.00.
Mayweather likes his money, so he broke down the money he made per second on a photo accompanying the news he could make nearly $70-million.
Although Mayweather won, Maidana threw some punches post-match saying, "I think I won the fight. He didn’t fight like a man... He never hurt me with a punch."
That may be Maidana's prerogative, but Mayweather would certainly love to make $70-million in 36 minutes again. "If the fans want to see it again, let’s do it again."
