Dario Saric officially enters NBA draft

The new agent for European prospect Dario Saric revealed on Twitter on Saturday that his client has officially declared for the 2014 NBA Draft.

And so ends quite a tumultuous couple of months that included a lot of flip-flopping and a change in representation for the Croatian. The 2013 FIBA Young Player of the Year can now turn his attention to preparing for pre-draft camps and workouts, events that could solidify his status as a lottery pick.

Presently, DraftExpress has Saric mocked to go ninth in the draft while ESPN is more bearish, ranking him as the No. 12 prospect.

The potential with Saric is tantalizing, as the 6-foot-10 forward boasts a 9-foot reach, great vision, a solid handle and above-average rebounding skill. His jump-shot is a concern and he's thin at just 223 pounds, but some team, particularly one with multiple picks, will likely roll the dice on the upside in play here.
