What does the inside of a bobsled look like?

For all the technology and speed that combine to make bobsledding one of the most exciting events of the Winter Olympics, the driving controls of the actual sleds appear a little ... uh ... underwhelming.

Imagine trusting the above mechanism while rocketing down a slippery course with hairpin turns at 80 miles per hour. I'll stick to a minivan navigating suburban neighborhoods, thank you very much.
