Marusic (thigh) has been named among Lazio's substitutes for Sunday's Serie A encounter against Napoli, marking his return to the matchday squad following a prolonged spell on the sidelines.
Analysis:Marusic has been sidelined since the season opener due to a thigh injury and a subsequent setback that delayed his recovery. The defender has played just 19 minutes this season, recording one tackle won and one clearance during his lone appearance. Romano Floriani Mussolini has filled in during his absence, and Marusic could initially be limited to a substitute role as he works toward regaining full match fitness.
