Doig had six tackles (three won), one block and one clearance in Saturday's 3-0 defeat versus Roma.
Analysis:Doig was utilized as a wing-back but couldn't take advantage of the more proactive role because Sassuolo attacked very little in this one. Instead, he tallied a new season high in tackles and has put up at least one in six consecutive fixtures, totaling 14 (five won) and adding six crosses (one accurate), four interceptions and two shots (zero on target) in that stretch. Furthermore, this marked his sixth straight display with one or more clearances (13 total). His team has yet to blank the opponents this campaign.
