Kreider scored a goal Saturday in a 4-1 victory over the Maple Leafs.
Analysis:Keider's second-period goal ended up as the winner. He intercepted an errant cross-ice pass by Leafs rookie Gavin McKenna and finished a breakaway with a wrister past Sergei Bobrovsky's right pad. Kreider's overall stat line (three goals, six assists; 20 shots) looks tepid at best. But he has five points (two goals, three assists) and 10 shots in his last five games. There's increasing warmth in his game.
