Butland (elbow) is available for Saturday's Premier League clash against Arsenal after featuring for Hull City's U21 side against Derby County on Monday, according to the club.
Analysis:Butland has taken another important step in his recovery from elbow surgery after returning to competitive action with Hull City's U21 side Monday. The goalkeeper had already resumed team training but was not ready for Saturday's match against Ipswich Town. Konstantinos Tzolakis appears to have established himself as Hull's first-choice goalkeeper for now, although Butland's return adds competition for the starting role. After an extended absence, Butland may initially have to settle for a backup role as he works toward regaining his place in the lineup.
