Walton improved on his numbers on Saturday with 51 rushing yards on a dozen carries and a touchdown in the Notre Dame 35-13 win over Navy.
Analysis:Walton slightly rebounded after only 17 rushing yards against BYU on Oct. 17 in the previous contest. The good news is that the freshman has scored four touchdowns in the last three games. Walton and the Irish running game will have a tough day in the next game on Nov. 7. Notre Dame faces a Miami defense that is the best in the nation against the run, allowing only 61 yards per game.
