Burton logged 19 points (7-8 FG, 3-3 3Pt, 2-4 FT), two rebounds, five assists and two steals in 24 minutes during Monday's 91-57 victory over Eastern Illinois.
Analysis:Despite entering with a lingering finger injury, Burton started and led the Hoosiers in scoring with an efficient 19 points in what ended up a lopsided victory. A three-year starter at Notre Dame, Burton was one of the most coveted players in this year's portal and appears prime to lead the revamped Indiana roster in scoring. He'll look to continue this momentum Thursday against Bellarmine.
