Los Angeles assigned Strus (foot) to the G League's San Diego Clippers on Friday.
Analysis:Strus has made progress in his recovery from his plantar fasciitis, but he's expected to require a few more days to regain full health. Meanwhile, Strus will work with the San Diego affiliate and could see his first minutes of the season at the G League level before being deemed ready for active status at the NBA level.
